Training & Development:

Numark recognises the importance of providing training and this includes training for the whole pharmacy team.

• Regular workshops for pharmacists covering topics to add value to your business. Past workshops have included practical support to get started with providing MURs and a hands on session looking at recording CPD. All the topics and workshop content has been developed with independent pharmacists in mind.
• A pre registration programme that is now into its third year. With a combination of eight seminar days and with a two-day residential conference, the programme aims to give trainees in independent pharmacies the same level of support and development offered by the National chains. Pre and post-seminar work helps the tutors see exactly what has been covered on the days and links in directly with the RPSGB performance standards programme.
• Frequent training and workshops for counter assistants designed to help them better understand both modern retailing techniques and product knowledge. From tailored workshops for small groups or even individual pharmacies, Numark can help meet the development needs of all who work in a community pharmacy setting.
